Nominations are now open for the Betjeman Award 2023 with the deadline for nominations by 30 April 2023.
Below is the nomination form for the Betjeman Award 2023. I hope it is easy to complete and we would be pleased to receive nominations by the deadline of 30 April. The form was included with the recent January 2023 Newsletter.
Last year’s winner was Lance Pierson posthumously and his family were delighted to have received the Award on Lance’s behalf. The Award was made in recognition of his work keeping JB ‘alive’ through his guided walks of London and the recording he made of JB’s poetry.
Please remember the Award is made on the basis of recognition coming from you, the members and is carefully considered. Recommendations are made independently of the Council. The criteria for the Award are set out with the nomination form.
