The Betjeman Society has a number of regional branches, which are overseen by Council member Andrew McCallum, whose details are provided below. Anyone interested in establishing a new branch should also approach him in the first instance.

Canterbury
The Branch holds its meetings on the first Saturday of each month of the year. They welcome any Betjeman Society member who would like to join them. Coffee at 10.15am, start at 10.30am, finish at 12.15pm.

The Shires
The Shires Branch exists to bring together members of the Society resident in the counties of Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Northampton, and Rutland. They have strong links with the Lincolnshire Branch and several members outside their geographical territory attend Shires Branch meetings.

Southern

SEVERN AND WYE GROUP
Covering the areas of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and parts of Warwickshire, the ‘Severn and Wye’ group was formed in 2021, and meets bi-monthly, generally at either Malvern or Pershore. THE RIDINGS
As the Society’s most northerly branch, we aim to bring together members not only from across the county of Yorkshire, but further afield too. Our bi-monthly eclectic gatherings are held at Christchurch in Harrogate, convenient for the railway station. Existing members of the Society who wish to join us will be warmly welcomed.
