The Branch holds its meetings on the first Saturday of each month of the year. They welcome any Betjeman Society member who would like to join them. Coffee at 10.15am, start at 10.30am, finish at 12.15pm.

The Shires

The Shires Branch exists to bring together members of the Society resident in the counties of Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Northampton, and Rutland. They have strong links with the Lincolnshire Branch and several members outside their geographical territory attend Shires Branch meetings.

As the Society’s most northerly branch, we aim to bring together members not only from across the county of Yorkshire, but further afield too. Our bi-monthly eclectic gatherings are held at a conveniently located venue in Harrogate, some 5 minutes walk from the railway station and with ample parking close by.
