Wantage Branch meeting – Betjeman at Oxford.
It is 100 years since John Betjeman went up to Magdalen College Oxford and it would be interesting to look back through Young Betjeman by Bevis Hillier and Summoned by Bells. Passages from these and other pieces which give a history of his love for Oxford and surroundings – please bring a favourite piece and let me know if you are prepared to read. Please contact the Wantage Branch for more information or if you wish to attend.

– By bank transfer to The Betjeman Society Sort Code 40-43-26 (HSBC) and Account Number 62338521. Pay the total amount required for your ticket/s and give as a reference your surname and the event date. Please email events@betjemansociety.com to advise your booking details.
– By cash on arrival but please email as above so we know to expect you.
