AGM – 9th July 2022
Our 2022 AGM will be held at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, SN8 1PA on Saturday 9th July at 1030 hrs for 1100 hrs.
Morning: AGM (Free to members only) followed by presentation of the annual Betjeman Society Award then lunch; college tour, viewing of JB related archive material, showing of relevant extracts from JB’s TV programmes. JB readings and presentations. John Betjeman arrived at Marlborough College in 1920 so this event marks the centenary of his time there.
Cost: £30 (Details in May Newsletter and AGM notice to members to follow).
Many events are organised by the Council of the Betjeman Society: to book a place for these events please use the booking form that is sent out with the Society Newsletter or choose one of the following options::

– By bank transfer to The Betjeman Society Sort Code 40-43-26 (HSBC) and Account Number 62338521. Pay the total amount required for your ticket/s and give as a reference your surname and the event date. Please email events@betjemansociety.com to advise your booking details.
– By cash on arrival but please email as above so we know to expect you.
